Salt Lake City locals are well aware of the charm of Holladay and for good reason.
The neighborhood is lined in old growth trees and sparkling summer sunlight. Residents enjoy evening alpenglow on the nearby mountains and weekends filled with night hikes and daytime mountain bike rides. Some of the best ski resorts in the world are just a short drive away. It’s the kind of neighborhood you might wake up to find baby deer grazing on your lawn. Or gaze out your patio window sipping a hot tea on a winter morning watching the snowflakes flutter by.
Summer afternoons at the stone plaza city center are filled with shopping at local boutiques, sitting down for coffee. One of our favorite spots to meet is 3 Cups. We love the atmosphere of this place. With tall benches around tables, it’s a great spot to meet clients and friends. They grind their own beans, they have a huge tea selection, and their menu is full of an assortment of delicious healthy meals.
In the evening, you can stop by the SOHO Food Park. It’s a seasonal gathering of some of the best food trucks including Freshies Lobster Co, Bruges Waffles, Salt City BBQ, and Ramen Haus.
Some of Salt Lake City’s most beautiful mid-century modern homes are nestled in the private, tree-lined streets of Holladay.
Like this listing on Juniper. It’s laid out beautifully in a way that feels open and brightly lit but still allows for privacy and quiet. It’s a place you could easily (and happily) work from home. The kitchen is somewhere you’ll want to spend time in the morning. There’s this striking view of pine trees just out the window over the sink. The guest room takes in the softest evening light. It feels restful, like a place to read and unwind. The yard is mature and shaded by trees, with a patio and wooden deck. We can envision summer evenings and bistro lights with soft music played on the Sonos outdoor speaker system and dinner with company
